A new series representing family and motherhood should be on my site soon. They turned out well and many of the families/parents I know have had some wonderfull comments about them. At a private show I did they even made a little comment book for me.
I am currently working on more series (my sketchbook is full of ideas) including more abstract dragons, music and some fairies.
Some of my newest exciting news is that I have been asked to come up with an outline to give a motivational presentation to head start parents. My theme would be using abstract art to show how adults can get over being perfectionist and allow children more freedom of expression in the classroom and at home. It would be fabulous to share art in a way that teaches others and assist them in growing as a person.

Too Long!
Wow! I didn't even realize it had been so long since I last posted.
I actually finished a series of figures based on families. I wanted to show a variety of families. I should have images of them up soon.
The art business has been kind of slow. But I am working on getting my art shown at some local coffee shops and a possibly at a high school. Things are in the works!
Wish me luck.

A special thanks to Curtis, Dusty, Amy, Danny and Wendy for all your support!

Success at the Modesto Art & Wine Festival
I had a great day today and met with many local artists at the Modesto Art & Wine Festival. Although it was a really long day, I am excited that I was able to sell five pieces of my artwork and share my creations with many more. I'm exhausted, invigorated, and inspired.

ART! ART! ART!
I have been trying to finish a piece every day or two. So far I have completed 10 new pieces. Mostly "Fire Dancers" and "Fire Faeries" (I have been in a red mood), but I also finished a few very abstract pieces.
